Innovations in learning can save lives. In this demo session, the Ukraine-based organization 2402 Foundation will share insights on providing risk assessment training using a VR module by Head Set Immersive. This hands-on training focuses on threats, risks, and security situations typical for those who work in hostile environments and/or with controversial topics.
Training with VR is designed to minimize the risk that a person will become confused, not in control, or feel helpless and defenseless in a critical situation in real life. It provides journalists with the experience needed for real-world situations where quick, ethical decision-making is vital to safety and confidentiality.
